Traffic restrictions Waddell between the L303 and Cotton Lane will be restricted to one way traffic only starting Monday 2/11 @7am until Friday 2/15 @5pm. Westbound traffic will be open, eastbound will be detoured to Cactus or Greenway. This restriction is to allow for sewer manholes to be installed for the Prasada Project.
New Turf at City Hall The week of February 4th over 21,000 square feet of grass at City Hall will be replaced with synthetic turf from five generous venders as a demonstration project. The City will serve as a shining example of how we all can conserve water. The City will save nearly eight million gallons of water a year and $20,000 a year in water and Lawn maintenance costs.
New Web pages www.surpriseaz.com features three new or revamped sites that have been months in the making. The “Transportation” page is a clearinghouse for all transportation-related information, from road maintenance schedules to how to use public transit. The redeveloped Engineering Department site is more colorful and user friendly, and a revamped Disability Awareness site is better-organized and easier to read. | |
