The Communications Department communicates the goals and activities of Surprise city government and assists residents and visitors in finding information about the City. The Communications Department operates the City’s web site and Surprise Channel 11. The department also publishes the Surprise Progress quarterly, the annual Newcomer’s Guide and Telephone Directory, brochures, advertisements and more. Communications staff also issues news release and responds to media inquires about city government.
