CTCA Championships at Surprise - Oct. 8 - Oct. 11
The City of Surprise and InsideOut Sports and Entertainment announced that Andre Agassi will play Outback Champions Series tennis for the first time when he participates in the Cancer Treatment Centers of America Tennis Championships at Surprise, presented by Sanderson Volvo, October 8-11, at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex. The Cancer Treatment Centers of America Championships at Surprise is the seventh of eight events on the 2009 Outback Champions Series, the global tennis circuit for champion tennis players age 30 and over. Shakespeare in the Park - Oct. 25
This fall the Arizona Shakespeare Festival (ASF) hits the road with a statewide tour of the wonderful comedy, "Much ado About Nothing". The professional theatre company will stop again in Surprise to perform at the Surprise Community Park. Bring a blanket and your appetite as there will be Shakespeare cuisine, such as turkey legs, steak on a stick, roasted nuts and more. Don't be alarmed if you are sitting by a Lady of the Court, a Peasant or a Knight of Order, all from the Arizona Renaissance Festival as they will also be in attendance to entertain the audience. This event is free to the public.
