Road improvements at Dysart & Grand begin Oct. 5

Surprise, AZ (October 1, 2009) Improvement work at Dysart Road and Grand Avenue will begin Monday, October 5.  When complete in March, motorists will note much improved traffic flows in the area.

Road construction crews will reconstruct the intersection to allow for two through lanes, a left and a right turn lane on Dysart on both sides of Grand.

Starting October 5, drivers on either side of Dysart will not be allowed to make left turns onto Grand Avenue.  Lane restrictions are expected throughout the work and will vary as the project proceeds.

The city encourages people to avoid this area during the reconstruction, however if you must use this route, please allow for extra time and follow the posted speed limits.
