Shafer Tribute to air on Surprise 11 through weekend
The memorial service held Friday, May 9 at Surprise Stadium in honor of former Mayor Joan Shafer will be broadcast Friday night and through the weekend, according to the Surprise Communications Department.

Volunteer drivers needed for Surprise Senior Center
Surprise Senior Center is recruiting volunteers to drive seniors from their homes to the Senior Center for lunch and activities. Vehicles, training, uniform shirt and lunch are provided.
Bell Road Reconstruction Open House- May 14
In July work will begin on the second and third phases of the Bell Road Reconstruction Project and the public is invited to attend an Open House to get all the details.
